Wheel choices and results

Your wheel entries are processed in the browser. SpinWheels does not send entry text or selected results to an application server. Recent results are stored in your browser's local storage so they can remain available on the same device.

When you use Share wheel, the current entries are placed in the copied URL. Anyone who receives that URL can read those entries, so do not include private, confidential, or sensitive personal information in a wheel you plan to share.

Google Analytics

SpinWheels loads Google Analytics 4 when you visit unless analytics have been disabled on this browser. Google Analytics may set first-party identifiers such as _ga cookies.

Analytics records page views and product actions such as spinning, sharing, adding, removing, shuffling, and resetting. Events may include the wheel type, number of active options, and sharing method. They never include wheel entry text, question text, selected result text, recent history, URL query parameters, or the shared URL.

Google may process technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location, referral source, and IP-derived information according to Google's own data practices. SpinWheels disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals in its tag configuration.

Analytics preference

Your analytics preference is saved in local storage on this browser. Disabling analytics stops new events and removes Google Analytics cookies that SpinWheels can identify on this domain. Clearing all site data removes the preference, so analytics will be enabled again on a later visit.

Data minimization

SpinWheels does not require a name, email address, account, or payment information. Do not use the tool to store sensitive personal information. This notice may be updated if the site adds accounts, advertising, or other hosted services.
